Royal Blood’s city isn’t real. Not physically real. Not a place you could walk to. So it seems only right and just that we make it playable in other physically unreal spaces. By which we mean the internet.
This is a set of high-resolution PNG images you can use to make tokens for your favourite virtual tabletop software (and all the other VTT software, come to that).
The set includes a full set of tarot card art, images of the coins your players will use to wager against Fate Herself, plus three background illustrations. Set up your playing space exactly like you would on a gaming table: deal out the cards, decide the stakes, and play until you remake the world in the Royals’ image.
The Royal Blood VTT token assets, like the tarot deck they’re drawn from, are a lavishly illustrated accessory for the Royal Blood roleplaying game, created using original art by Silvia De Stefanis, designed to evoke Grant Howitt’s descriptions and rules.
Royal Blood is a tarot heist TTRPG in which the wizard-blooded descendants of witch-queens and sorcerer-kings steal the power from the Arcane – the Major Arcana of the tarot, who hoard it for themselves. It’s a low-prep, one-shot experience that can get you from zero to playing in about half an hour.
