- 12 pages of tips for rebels on the castle and its agents, the world and the void, and their fellow rebels
- Notes from experienced rebels H and Q, members of the Dead Phoenix Collective providing extra insight and opposing views (just to keep the rebels on their toes)
- A useful interface between game terms and in-character speech, showing how people really talk about (and understand!) these high-falutin’ concepts.
Voidheart Symphony Setting Zine
Present your rebel Voidheart Symphony players with a handbook for the rest of their lives. We should all be so lucky.
A pair of experienced rebels advise, theorise, and argue their way through the core concepts of Voidheart Symphony in this in-character guide to becoming a rebel and smashing the castle.
This 12-page stapled zine is designed as an in-world artefact: something rebels might find waiting on their doormat, in their pigeonhole, or tucked under their windscreen wiper when they return from their first assault on a castle shard.
Use it to give players a quick, accessible, and colourful (figuratively and literally – the graphic design is gorgeous, here) introduction to what their characters can expect from the psychic revolution… and the sort of people who are fighting by their sides.
This is the same material as the Setting chapter of Voidheart Symphony, just formatted in a nice, player-friendly, in-world zine. It’s a fun player aid, not new material.

What is Voidheart Symphony?
Kick monsters to death in the dark castle that sits behind your reality – and then make sure you and your friends can still make rent. Voidheart Symphony is an updated edition of Minærva McJanda’s tabletop roleplaying game of modern revolution, capitalist horror and hard-won community.
