Spring Fling 2025

Posted on April 25, 2025 in News

Gosh, it’s a weird time, isn’t it. Let’s try and ignore it for a moment while we tell you that we’ve partnered with seven other excellent RPG publishers to bring you a delicious 25% off some of the perfect games for the season. Now through April 30, you can get 25% off any of these core books by using the code SPRINGFLING25 on our, or other people’s websites.

What’s This about cheap games, THen?

If you’re a fan of fantasy-punk rebellion, political plotting and playing to find out what you lose, then may we recommend our very own Spire: The City Must Fall? Enjoy a cursed train network, characters that can summon a party or incite a riot with a speech, and a doomed fight back against the ruling high elves with everything you’ve got.

Into the politics and the thinly disguised bureaucratic fascism, but not the heartbreak or the cursed trains? Have a go on Warhammer 40K: Imperium Maledictum. In the grim darkness of the far future, it turns out, you can play as psykers if you want, as long as no one tells the Emperor.

Still in the sci-fi future, still dealing with political intrigue, but more with a sort of sand-based prophesy vibe? Fancy being the ruling class instead of the underdog for a bit? It’s Dune: Adventures in the Imperium, where the spice must flow, fear is the mind-killer, and you get to be the puppet masters of galactic politics. Two links for this one: US & Canada, and everyone else.

If you’re happy with a dark future but prefer less grim, there’s Cyberpunk RED: tell stories of the Night City and take on everyone from the gangs to the megacorps. R Talsorian have run out of the core book, but the Edgerunners Mission Set is going cheap.

Want to play a small gang taking on the shadowy powers that control the city, but prefer monsters to computers? Try Urban Shadows, in which mortals vie for control of a modern-day city against vampires, faeries and wizards.

Want to really zoom in on the “vampires” bit? Vampire: The Masquerade, now in its fifth edition, gets deep into both the politics of being a centuries-old monster vying for supremacy and control, and the personal horror involved.

If you’re into the idea of being ancient but maybe want to play the good guys, then Pendragon might be for you. Go be Arthurian legends, quest for grails, generate your own coats of arms, die heroically in battle and return as your own child, and so forth.

Finally, if you like the “swords” concept and want to add “and sorcery” to the end: Dragonbane, Free League’s revitalised classic, is full of mystery, myth and adventure, and also has actual rather than metaphorical dragons.

How do I get these deals again?

Go to the publishers’ website, buy the book, and add the code SPRINGFLING25 at checkout to get 25% off. It’s that simple.
