RIDE is a feel-good, potentially non-violent journey game about facing adventure and challenges on the road. It’s about contemplation, empathy and tasty Twisties while empowering your friends.
The Road teaches. It’s the great equalizer, a provider of adventure through liminal time and space. It’s the canvas of this game. It beckons you to stop pretending, stop being numb, and start taking control of your Journey. It gives you the opportunity, without regret or obligations, to ride with whom you choose. There is no right/correct/best way, there is only the way of the Road.
The world is dying. It’s not your fault, nor can you do anything about it. What you can do is choose to live the last moments in good company, with good intentions and while enjoying every moment.
You and your friends have Motorcycles now inhabited by spirits of the SUNDERING OF THE PORTALS. These magical bikes have one purpose, get you from your Meetup to your destination before the world ends. Enjoy the RIDE while it lasts!
This game was built using the Havoc Engine used in Eat the Reich by Rowan, Rook and Decard, creators of the legendary game Doctor Magnethands.

About Havoc
Havoc Engine games are: short-form, over-the-top, and give players the bulk of narrative authority.
Havoc believes players should do the fun thing immediately and then find another fun thing to do based on the first fun thing. This engine is more candy than you should eat. This engine is a greased pig. This engine is a drum kit for your seventh birthday. This engine is Friday night forever.
The Havoc Engine Toolkit is designed to help you make your own original games, and then unleash them on the world.
RR&D Community Content
RIDE was created by JoyJoi Games, and is owned and designed by them with the Havoc Engine. We are making it available on our site as part of RR&D’s creator community programme: we take a small percentage of the price to cover hosting, and the original creators receive the rest. If you’d like to create your own works that are compatible with, or build on, our games, you can start with our community licence and join our Discord for more.
